Class of ’79 Donates $2,000 to Queen’s College Foundation

   In celebration of its 30th reunion the class of 1979 has donated $2,000 to the Queen’s College Foundation. These funds will go specifically to assist Queen’s College with its campus beautification efforts, including the planting of new trees and greenery on campus.

  Class members pooled their contributions together as a part of their reunion activities and gave their class gift in instalments. A cheque for $1,000 was presented in October 2009 and another cheque for $1,000 was presented in May 2010. The class of 1979 plans to continue to giving back to Queen’s College for future generations, and it encourages other alumni to do so as well.
